Body Fit is a professional Personal Training business driven by results and client satisfaction. We strive to deliver innovative, high quality training services tailor made for you.

Our Personal Trainers are REPS registered, widely trained and experienced. We are all dedicated to higher learning and improving our skills and knowledge for the best possible result for each and every one of our clients.

We also work closely with a number of health and well-being professionals including Doctors, Nutritionists and Physiotherapists to ensure that we guarantee a safe, professional, up to date and innovative service.

 

Meet Our Team:

Body Fit's Director is Shane Lyons, CHEK Exercise Coach and Golf Conditioning Specialist.

His background is in Gymnastics with over 10 years experience in the International arena. He represented New Zealand at the 1997 World Championships and the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

Shane has been a personal trainer for over ten years and brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to continuing education and development to Body Fit.

 

Body Fit Personal Trainer Andrew Lewis.

From an early age Andrew has been immersed in a multitude of sports. Having served in the army, Andrew learned discipline and the extremes of exercise. He spent majority of training as the platoon PT and eventually went on to become the Company PT. This gave him one end of the spectrum NO PAIN NO GAIN! However after spending three years studying at Auckland University of Technology with some of the best lecturers in this field he learned the other end of the spectrum. This has given him the ability to balance out the extremes and cater for everyone from clients who need a stern hand to just a tiny push in the right direction.

Andrew caters to all aspects of training including general health and fitness, weight management, sports specific, GRAVITY training, functional training, outdoor adventure (including running road and trail, rock climbing, mountain biking, etc.) and more.  Andrew tries to incorporate a lot of variety into workouts so they are not only challenging and interesting but make you feel good about your body, improve your confidence, motivation, quality of life and functional movements.
